From Zagreb to Bucharest: HYPERBUNKER’s Spotlight at How to Web 2026

Our incredible journey over the last few weeks culminated at the How to Web Conference 2026, held at the Face Convention Center in Bucharest. Looking back, what an unforgettable week it has been! It all started close to home when we won the regional How to Web Demo Nights pitch in Zagreb, Croatia. That victory earned us an initial one-day booth at CEE’s flagship investment and tech conference, but as we soon found out, our journey was just getting started.
Stepping into the Spotlight
Shortly after securing our booth, we were incredibly honored to be selected as one of the Top 20 early-stage startups from a pool of over 400 applicants for the prestigious Spotlight program. The energy in Bucharest was absolutely electric. Our very own Imran took the main stage for a live presentation and Q&A session, showcasing HYPERBUNKER’s brilliant approach to building a safer world. We shared our vision for the future of cybersecurity, highlighting our mission to provide true data sovereignty and physically isolated, last-resort recovery when everything else fails. The response was overwhelming. Our presentation resonated so well with the audience and judges that our booth presence was extended for a second day!
Meaningful Connections & Ecosystem Buzz
From the seamless flow of the stage to the constant buzz of the startup expo area and the non-ending 1:1s, How to Web this year was most likely the best one so far. We were surrounded by the people who fund, build, and scale European tech. Over the course of the event, we connected with brilliant cybersecurity specialists, forged new partnerships, and generated over 20 investor follow-ups. It was a powerful validation that we are building a truly unique, necessary solution for modern cyber resilience.
As beautifully captured by our friend Aleodor during the event, AI was naturally the main theme across the board. But more than that, humans are coming back into the mix like never before. Our collective capacity to build extraordinary things that make society better as a whole is flourishing.

Everything about this event was top-notch, from the flawless organization and curated lineup of expert speakers to the dynamic atmosphere created by over 200 investors in attendance.
